Opposition Leader announces changes to
shadow cabinet
Opposition Leader Yvonne Jones today released an
updated listing of changes to the shadow cabinet for the upcoming session of
the House of Assembly with responsibilities for monitoring and challenging
the policies and decisions of the Williams Government on behalf of the
people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
“We are very pleased to welcome our newest caucus
member, Marshall Dean, to our team,” said Ms. Jones. “His enthusiasm,
approach, insight and commitment to people will be a tremendous contribution
to the Official Opposition. With Marshall’s background and experience, we
felt he was well-suited to take on several major portfolios of great
importance. We will continue to challenge government inside and outside the
legislature to ensure the best policy decisions are made that will benefit
all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.”
